Matching needs and preferences
Individuals with similar needs established during the assessment process will be given the choice of sharing their service at the same time.
Similarly individual’s preferences about who they share the service with will also be taken into account.
These two features will promote:
- The autonomy of the people using the service.
- Relationships with potential future sharers.
- Friendships with people which could be further developed and continued outside of the service.
- Cost saving for the paying authority.
